WOLT FOR WORK B2B2C PRODUCT, ADMIN EXPERIENCE
Timeline: H1 2023

Corporate Onboarding

This work wasn’t about redesigning a flow—it was about reducing time to value by turning onboarding into a clear, goal-oriented path to success. The project reframed first-use from a checklist of setup tasks into a guided progression that helps users understand what matters, what to do next, and why it’s worth doing.

The existing onboarding experience was functional but fragmented. Users could complete setup, but they often finished without a clear sense of what the product was for or what their next meaningful action should be. The result was slower activation, higher early confusion, and unnecessary support overhead.

I led a redesign that restructured onboarding around user intent rather than system requirements. Instead of showing everything at once, the experience focuses on the minimum set of steps needed to reach first value, and sequences the rest based on what the user is trying to achieve. Content, actions, and feedback were aligned to make progress visible and to clarify how each step connects to real outcomes.

The shift wasn’t visual—it was conceptual: from “complete these fields” to “here’s how you get value from this product.” This reduced cognitive load in the first session and made the product feel purposeful from the start.

Outcomes:

  • Reduce the average time from lead to company activated time from 3.8 days to 0.5 days.

  • Increase conversion rate from 0.78% to 2.6%
